RISE interns help Greenville nonprofits build lasting impact

Each summer, the Riley Institute Summer Experience (RISE) places Furman students with Upstate organizations working on some of the region’s most pressing challenges. During the 10-week experience, students contribute their skills and perspectives to meaningful work while gaining a deeper understanding of the communities and organizations they serve. 

For Greater Good Greenville and Greenville Together, those contributions have had a lasting impact. The Riley Institute shares how both organizations have continued to build on the work of their RISE interns and what the experience has meant for the students and organizations involved.
