What do you plan to study?

Health Science on the pre-med track.

Why did you want to be a Hearst Fellow?

I wanted to be a Hearst Fellow to increase my opportunities with internships and participating in activities that will assist me on my journey through college while making an amazing group of friends. Also, it allowed me to be with a diverse group of individuals who are just like me.

What has Furman meant to you during this period of change?

During this changing period Furman has become a new home. Even though it is hard to feel normal, Furman has come close to making it seem "normal". By providing activities and still having student groups being active, it has allowed me to find what I enjoy doing here. Like with dance team, even though we must wear masks, we still can have practices if we social distance. Getting to do something I love even in this condition has made me feel safe and happy at the same time.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

In my spare time, I enjoy watching Netflix and hanging out with my friends, even if it is virtual.

What's a quirky fact about you, or what would the title of your autobiography be?

Quirky traits about me are that I love to play videogames (I know it's shocking for a girl) and that I laugh at everything no matter how funny it is.

Organizations:

I am a part of the Furman Dance team and CHAARG.
