Kelly Baird joins The Hill Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship as Director with 25+ years of engaged experience as an entrepreneur and community member in the flourishing city of Greenville, South Carolina.

With 7 business creations to her credit, Kelly has also had the good fortune to train with four Fortune 500 companies and lead a local non-profit organization as Executive Director. These experiences have shaped and influenced her desire to bring her experience and knowledge to students, community members, and their endeavors through programs at The Hill Institute.

Over the years, she has enjoyed leadership roles and involvement in many organizations, schools, and non-profit groups, such as The Upstate Children’s Museum, The Alliance for Quality Education, Christ Church Episcopal School, City of Greenville Design Review Board, Greenville Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, Greenville Professional Woman’s Forum, The Gridley Club, and The Liberty Foundation SC Health Action Committee. She helped start the Downtown Business Association (Greenville, SC), the Circle of The Upstate Children’s Museum, and the Downtown Holiday Committee.

Being a mom to her 3 wonderful children is her greatest accomplishment and joy. Kelly enjoys traveling near and far, listening to live music and is always appreciative of a good laugh.
