KC is an essential member of the Daniel Chapel staff, providing custodial support for the Chapel, Shi Institute, and other areas around campus. KC was born and raised in the Greenville, SC area. He identifies as transgender, and his pronouns are he/him/his. KC is part of the LGBTQIA+ Sub Committee here at Furman. To KC, “being out is strength and proud is being myself” when asked what being “Out and Proud” at Furman means to him. In his spare time, he loves to camp, canoe, hike, bike, and listen to Opera. He is most at home on or near the water.
