Katie Deuben is an experienced in-house generalist, with a focused background in complex financial transactions, human resource management, global regulatory and government compliance, and contract review and negotiations.

Prior to her current role as Assistant General Counsel at ScanSource Inc., Deuben worked as in-house counsel for both Synnex and Michelin North America.  She began her legal career in private practice at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, LLP.

Deuben holds her JD from the University of South Carolina School of Law and her Bachelor's in Political Science and in Communications Studies from Clemson University.  She joined Furman University (UES) as an adjunct professor in 2019.
