Just in time for fall registration, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Furman University gains attention from FOX Carolina’s “Access Carolina.” OLLI instructor Barbara Stoop joins host Margaret Burnquist to show viewers how to make gelli plate prints, a process that uses a gel-like mat, paper and acrylic paint for designing cards, prints, books and more. Stoop is among the all-volunteer cadre of instructors teaching the more than 140 classes that will be offered. Registration opens Aug. 14, and classes begin in September.
