Kate Kaup tees up U.S.-China Relations panel on local news

The Riley Institute at Furman University will hold a two-session panel on U.S.-China relations Monday, Oct. 9, from 4-8 p.m. in Younts Conference Center on campus. Six speakers are slated to give their insights on an increasingly strained relationship between the global powers in “China’s Global Rise: Managing U.S.-China Relations in a New Era.” Furman’s Kate Kaup, the James B. Duke Professor of Asian Studies and Politics and International Affairs, moderates the sessions. She spoke to WYFF News 4’s Jane Robelot to provide context for the event, which is free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged.
