John Quinn comments on migratory bird patterns

When the seasons change, so do the migratory activities of birds. And the Upstate region is a major throughway for hundreds of millions of birds on any given night during late summer and early fall according to national trackers. Furman University’s John Quinn, the Henry Keith and Ellen Hard Townes Professor of Biology and director of Environmental Studies, speaks to WYFF News 4’s Rashad Williams about why and when birds migrate and how we humans can help keep them safe on their journey.
