Jodi Tovay ’05 wins Podcast of the Year at 2026 Ambies for “Wisecrack”

Jodi Tovay ’05

Jodi Tovay ’05, a four-time Emmy® Award nominated executive producer with roots in live concerts with Viacom, reality television production with Discovery, and co-owner and executive producer for Rainbow Heads Productions, won Podcast of the Year at the 2026 Ambies for “Wisecrack.”  The show centers on UK comedian Edd Hedges, who tells a story about a real hometown murder in his standup act, and Tovay, as she investigates the story.

Tovay, a Furman communication studies alum, accepted the award on Feb. 24 along with awards for Best Production and Sound Design, Nonfiction Screenwriting, and Society and Culture.
