2024 Artist-In-Residence, Danni O’Brien of Baltimore, Maryland, displays artwork created around her residency at Furman. O’Brien fashions sculptural assemblages of found materials and asks the viewer to puzzle over how these whimsical, absurd and uncanny pairings of detritus ruminate on bodies, machines, the environment and queer futurism.
