Furman University President Elizabeth Davis was featured with four other community luminaries in Vive Magazine. Leigh Savage, a Furman alumna, crafted the piece that includes the “real stars” of our community – “the people breaking new ground, changing the landscape, and contributing necessary wisdom and know-how.” Others profiled include Minor Shaw, Stewart Spinks, Glenis Redmond and Dan Roberts, all 55 and older.

In her profile, Davis speaks of her continued focus on The Furman Advantage and diversity and belonging on campus. “If we are not appealing, attractive, or supporting to half of the population of students, that’s not a good business model,” she says.
