Aganga-Williams ’08 joins Robertson on ‘4 The Record’

WYFF News 4’s Nigel Robertson sat down with Furman University graduate, Temidayo Aganga-Williams ’08 who served as senior investigative counsel for the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the U.S. Capitol. Aganga-Williams, who made a stop in Greenville to speak at The Riley Institute’s StraightTalk series about the investigation, was a guest on Roberston’s “4 The Record” Sunday morning program. Aganga-Williams stressed the committee’s focus on finding the truth and laying out the facts surrounding the incursion.

Aganga-Williams also spoke about his time at Furman and how it shaped his eventual role as a January 6th Committe member. He urged viewers, particularly students, to keep their intellectual curiosity and their forward momentum. “The world will come to you in all kinds of different ways,” he said, reflecting on the call to join the committee. “If you stay open-minded, you’ll find your way.”

In addition to his bachelor’s in political science and philosophy at Furman, Aganga-Williams earned his J.D. at Cornell Law School. He is partner at NYC law firm Selendy Gay Elsberg PLLC, which posted Aganga-Williams’ appearance in StraightTalk on its website.
