National recruiting, HR consulting firm acquires Furman alum’s company
Find Great People, a national recruiting and human resources firm, has acquired Generational Performance Solutions, a company created by 2017 Furman University alum Kamber Parker Bowden. Bowden, a communication studies and political science double major, founded the consulting company in 2019. It specializes in generational workforce strategy, intergenerational communication, leadership development and emerging workforce engagement.
Upstate Business Journal and Greenville Business Magazine ran stories about the acquisition.
In Greenville Business Magazine, FGP CEO John Uprichard said, “Organizations today are navigating one of the most significant workforce transitions in modern history. Many companies are experiencing the convergence of retiring leadership, evolving workforce expectations, and the rapid adoption of AI and emerging technologies. The ability to successfully transfer knowledge, develop future leaders, and create alignment across generations has become a critical business priority. Adding Kamber and the GPS brand to our consulting team strengthens our ability to help clients address these workforce challenges.”
For Bowden, now executive consultant at FGP, the acquisition creates an opportunity to expand the impact of her work while leveraging FGP’s established platform, brand and client relationships.
