A special delivery on Valentine’s Day
COVID-19 may have derailed this year’s traditional Valentine’s Day Dance for Exceptional Adults hosted annually by Furman’s Heller Service Corps, but it didn’t stop student members of the service organization from showing kindness to the special adult community in a new and different way. While following pandemic guidelines, the group rallied to fill 150 Valentine’s Day gift bags for special adults at Thrive Upstate. The flurry of activity, including card-making for kids at Prisma Health Children’s Hospital, is captured in a photo gallery.
