He went from sixth grade to law school

Ben Saul ’13 is passionate about education. Whether it’s attending school, getting a bachelor’s at Furman University, teaching school, or going back for more school – twice – first at Harvard, and now in his second year at University of Virginia School of Law, it’s safe to say Saul has a heart for education. Saul, a Furman political science graduate and Greenwood, South Carolina, native, is featured in a UVA School of Law publication. In the Q&A, he shares how his experiences – from elementary school to teaching at a Greenville Title I middle school – have shaped his advocacy for children and his desire to serve them in the justice system.
