Family heirloom links past, childhood friends

Fellow Furman University alumni Keith Jameson Richard ’90 and Travis Moore ’90 have been friends since childhood. Both from Greenwood, South Carolina, Richard is a New York-based tenor who regularly performs at the Metropolitan Opera, and Moore is Probate Judge of Greenwood County. The 760 miles between them doesn’t get in the way of their friendship. Richard’s parents came across a nearly 100-year-old family heirloom that Richard presented to Moore.
