A message from Furman University President Elizabeth Davis

When we launched The Furman Advantage, we promised to give all of our students an educational experience that would prepare them for meaningful lives and careers.

Working with our colleagues on campus, we put together this report highlighting our progress over the past year. You’ll see that while the results are encouraging, we’re looking for ways to improve as we reflect on our calling to support students along a four-year pathway marked by mentoring, exploration, reflection and career preparation.

From the impact of engaged faculty to a pioneering program focused on student mentoring, from near-limitless engaged-learning opportunities to a growing diversity of students and faculty – this past year has been one of growth and discovery.
