Furman student claims titles at Capital Challenge Horse Show

Two horses, one rider, three awards. Martha Ingram ’20 of Nashville won big at the 26th Annual Capital Challenge Horse Show held this month in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Ingram, a Furman senior who is majoring in politics and international affairs with a minor in Middle East/Islamic studies, took the grand championship honors in the Amateur-Owner Hunter 3’3″ event riding Fonteyn. She was also named Amateur-Owner 3’3″ Rider on the same horse. Piloting Airport 48, she won the World Championship Hunter Rider (WCHR) Amateur-Owner 3’3″ Challenge. Jump Media covered the event.
