Roper Mountain Science Center breaks ground on $15M facility

Greenville County Schools Administration and Board of Trustees broke ground on a $15 million facility at Roper Mountain Science Center. The new Environmental Science and Sustainability Center will include exhibits and curriculum designed in conjunction with Furman University’s David E. Shi Center for Sustainability. Exhibits include a watershed story and one that demonstrates the future of  sustainable living. 7News WSPA covered the plans for the facility, which is scheduled to open in early 2021.
