Holowesko-Citadel riders wrap up first team camp

Anticipating its first Pro Continental season in 2018, team Holowesko-Citadel gathered recently in Greenville for a week-long camp that included team bonding exercises and a battery of health screenings and physiological tests. Greenville, home of team owners George and Rich Hincapie, is also home to Greenville Health System’s Steadman Hawkins Clinic and the Furman Institute of Running and Scientific Training (FIRST®) where tests were carried out. Said Holowesko-Citadel’s second director Bobby Julich, “Our goal with all the testings and meetings was to gather as much information as possible in order to establish a solid baseline for our riders and a clear starting point for our organization … that knowledge will be crucial in our preparation toward a successful 2018 season.” Read more in Cycling News.
