Golf and Clean Water
Furman graduate and LPGA Tour Hall of Fame member Betsy King attended a golf tournament in Cape Cod recently to mingle with the players and talk about a charitable project dear to her heart. King, who graduated from Furman in 1977, was on hand to help raise money for Project Zambia, which supplies clean water through new wells being erected throughout Africa. King has been involved in her humanitarian project, Golf Fore Africa, since she visited Africa for the first time in 2006. Read more in the Cape Cod Times.
