Crews named director of Undergraduate Evening Studies

Elizabeth Crews has been named director of Furman University’s Undergraduate Evening Studies (UES), a division of Continuing Education.

The UES program at Furman offers convenient class times and affordable tuition for adult, traditional and non-traditional students who must balance career and family responsibilities while attending school.

Crews most recently served as director of Furman’s Learning for You program, where she led “Connections: Women Leaders of the Upstate,” the Scopes summer camps, and other developmental programs.

Crews is a graduate of Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Ga., and earned her M.Ed. degree from Clemson University in Counselor Education/Student Affairs. Prior to joining Furman, she worked in graduate programs at Clemson’s Eugene T. Moore School of Education, and in advancement at St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Greenville.

Crews has served with Junior League, Junior Achievement, Greenville Literacy Association, PTA, and TEDx Greenville 2014.  She is also an active member of Phi Kappa Phi.
