Furman STEM Scholars Program 2021-2026

The 2021-2026 Furman STEM Scholars program is funded through a $1,000,000 award from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to provide tuition assistance (up to $10,000/year) to two cohorts of freshman who entered Furman in the Fall 2021 and Fall 2022, majoring in a STEM discipline. Selected participants demonstrate academic merit, financial need and passion for science beyond the classroom.

Furman STEM Scholars Program 2025-2030

Furman’s most recent NSF S-STEM Award ($2,000,000) will provide two new student cohorts of students (entering Fall 2025, Fall 2026) who intend to pursue science or math majors (i.e. biology, chemistry, computer science, math or neuroscience) with annual scholarship assistance of up to $15,000/year, renewable annually.
