This annual meeting brings together over 500 students from throughout the state. The meeting features a distinguished plenary speaker, governor awards ceremony, oral and poster presentations, networking and the ever popular SCJAS awards ceremony

Registration fees:

SCJAS (Junior)

  • Annual Meeting registration students presenting research – $35 (includes registration and student membership)
  • Annual Meeting registration non-presenting students/teachers/parents – $25

SCJAS Fall Workshop 2023

Thank you to all who attended and supported the SCJAS Fall Workshop 2023 at  The Citadel! Remember to check back here for details for the upcoming  SCJAS Fall Workshop 2024.

This annual workshop will enable high school teachers and students to participate in a full day (9:00 a.m. through 3:30 p.m.) of science-focused activities. Hosted by the South Carolina Junior Academy of Science (SCJAS) and The Citadel, the workshop will include hands-on activities.  Registration for the Fall Workshop will open on October 1st.  Registration ($20) includes a light breakfast, lunch and participation in four sessions including the opening plenary address.
