Interested in Volunteering?
Throughout the school year, Heller provides students with many service opportunities including annual on-campus events, pop-in projects every week, monthly service Saturdays, and other programs. We also are connected with many agencies in the Greenville community for off-campus opportunities. Heller can help you find the perfect service opportunity for you.
Leadership Opportunities
The Heller leadership team is responsible for marketing, planning, and executing service events on and off campus, maintaining relations with our local Greenville agencies, and recruiting volunteers to serve in the community. The team consists of directors and coordinators who come together to make Heller function. Applications to join typically open in March to apply for the following year.

First, fill out our Interest Form! This will allow us to send you communications about upcoming events and help the leadership team to connect you with opportunities in your area of interest. Throughout the year, we will host weekly pop-in programs, on-campus events, monthly service Saturdays, and other opportunities. Anyone can serve the community as a part of Heller Service Corps. Whether you are a student, faculty, or staff member, we welcome you to participate in our on campus service events, volunteer with our local agencies, and donate to many drives we host throughout the year!
Our annual events include Pita and Paws, Fall Fest, Giving Tree, and Valentine’s dance. We also have weekly pop-in programs where you can stop by our table at Trone Student Center Tuesdays 1-3 to participate in an act of service. Heller also participates in donation drives and co-sponsors other events for various organizations throughout the year. Each month, Heller will host “Service Saturdays” where students will travel to one of our agencies and participate in a service project that will help meet the organization’s needs at the time. Heller can also help connect students with agencies in the Greenville community for additional service opportunities.
