Student Furman Focused Update

Dear Students,

Three weeks into the semester already, and we hope you are having a wonderful college experience thus far.

COVID Dashboard

We are holding steady as there were 16 positive student cases reported by the Earle Student Health Center (ESHC) this past week.

The Furman Focused Dashboard was updated yesterday and will be updated each Monday and Thursday.

Disposable masks

Our community has already used over 25,000 disposable masks this semester. While disposable masks will continue to be available, students are encouraged to keep a cloth mask on them at all times. Furman is in the process of purchasing more purple cloth masks and “FU COVID” masks to make available to the student body.

Flu shots

The Earle Student Health Center is hosting its first flu shot clinic next Wednesday, Sept. 15, 3-5 p.m. Students can just show up at the ESHC and must bring a copy of their insurance card and Furman I.D. There will be additional clinics scheduled throughout the fall semester.
