Town hall for students, families scheduled for Oct. 19
Dear Students and Families,
We are just past the mid-point of the fall semester and want to sincerely thank our students and families for showing resiliency and understanding under these challenging circumstances. Students have adapted to new learning and living environments and have committed themselves to the health and safety of our community.
Recently, we have received and responded to many questions about the fall semester and spring planning. As our fall plans continue to evolve and we begin to solidify our plans for the spring, we thought this would be a good time to hold our next town hall, on Monday, Oct. 19, at 6 p.m.
The Fall Semester Planning Team has assembled various campus experts to answer your questions during the town hall. The panel will include Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost Ken Peterson and Vice President for Student Life Connie Carson. Director of Student Involvement and Inclusion Jessica Berkey-Barnes will moderate and other staff members and students will be available to answer questions specific to their areas.
To participate in the Oct. 19 town hall, please register here.
When you register, you will be able to submit questions you would like us to consider. We will also take questions during the town hall through the webinar chat function. The town hall, which is limited to 500 registrants, will be recorded and shared on the Furman Focused website for those who may not be able to attend.
If you need any accommodations to fully participate, please email your requests to firstname.lastname@example.org. Requests must be received at least two business days before the date of the event.
Students, thank you for continuing to follow the Paladin Promise and for completing your daily LiveSafe health survey. Please continue to check the Furman Focused website and your email for regular updates.
