Need Teaching Feedback? Engage in a Peer Instructional Coaching Partnership!

Two individuals sitting down and having a conversation.

Before the semester kicks into high gear, we welcome faculty to partner with a Faculty Development Center-sponsored peer instructional coach for teaching feedback opportunities this semester. A cohort of colleagues participating in the Duke Leadership Peer Instructional Coaching Program is eager to work with you to facilitate teaching and learning enhancement opportunities:

Peer Teaching Observation – A powerful opportunity to explore, experience, and advance teaching practice with a trained teaching observation peer instructional coach. The goal of these formative observations is to facilitate critical reflection of teaching practices so that future areas of experimentation and refinement may be identified. To schedule a teaching observation, please complete an online collaboration request

Small Group Instructional Feedback (SGIF)
– For those faculty interested in a structured, mid-semester, student course feedback process, facilitated by a trained peer instructional coach, consider our Small Group Instructional Feedback Process. It is not too early to begin planning for a mid-semester feedback process. Please complete this form to schedule an SGIF session for one or more courses this semester.

Faculty Development Center colleagues are available to provide a
range of collaborative support services to advance one’s teaching, scholarship, or professional development goals, including consultations, professional coaching, teaching observations, and project ideation.
