AI in Action Session 3: AI Tools and Techniques for Data Visualization
Join us for an insightful session as Professor David Fleming demonstrates how AI tools are revolutionizing data visualization in his classroom and research. This third installment of the FDC’s AI in Action workshop series showcases innovative approaches to transforming complex datasets into compelling visuals and takes place on Monday, November 3, from 3:30–4:30 p.m. in Duke Library 041.
This session examines both the potential and the challenges of using AI in data visualization, helping participants apply these tools thoughtfully and critically in their research and teaching. Drawing on examples from his own classes, Dr. Fleming will share how he has used AI for data visualization and how his students have incorporated these tools into their work. Whether you are just curious or already using AI for data visualization, you’ll benefit from the rich exchange of ideas that is the hallmark of AI in Action sessions.
