Multimodal assignments—assignments that ask students to use more than one mode of communication, such as verbal + visual or verbal + aural—offer students a challenge while allowing them to combine their critical and creative skills. Multimodal assignments also make it more difficult for students to use AI in unauthorized ways. In this Lunch and Learn, we will introduce you to what multimodal projects are and to ways you might use them in the classroom. Whether you are brand new to multimodal assignments or already use them but want to learn more, this lunch workshop is for you!
