Special Collections and Archives offers 2 short summer fellowships for Furman faculty each year. Fellows explore our collections and liaise with library faculty and staff with an eye to enhancing an existing course or developing new course assignments or content to engage students with Furman’s rare and unique books, manuscripts, documents, and objects. Come to lunch and hear about the research summer 2022 Fellows Gary Malvern (MUS) made with our new Microtonal Music Archive and Andrew Womack (ANT) made with our Precolumbian pottery and textile collections, and learn how their fellowship experiences enhanced their course offerings this past year.

A virtual option is available for those who would like to join this session remotely. A zoom link will be provided to all those who have pre–registered prior to the event.
