Special Collections and Archives offers two short summer fellowships for Furman faculty each year. Fellows explore the collections and liaise with library faculty and staff with an eye to enhancing an existing course or developing new course assignments or content to engage students with Furman’s rare and unique books, manuscripts, documents, and objects. Come to lunch and hear about the research summer 2023 Fellows James Engelhardt (ENG) made with the South Carolina Poetry Archives and Kailash Khandke (ECON) made with our 19^th century periodical collections and learn how their fellowship experiences enhanced their course offerings this past year.
