If you are interested in promoting diversity and inclusion at Furman University you should apply for a Diversity and Inclusion Mini-Grant.
The Diversity and Inclusion Committee seeks mini-grant proposals that seek to address, promote or enhance one or more of these areas:
Eligible initiatives include, but are not limited to, lectures, bringing in a speaker, training, workshops, outreach activities, conferences, research, or an educational resource. Any initiative that meets one of the more the above five criteria will be considered.

Students, staff and faculty are eligible to apply and receive the grant. Recipients may be individuals, a team or an organization. A maximum of six grants of up to $900 are available for grant projects initiated during the 2019-2020 academic year. More than six grants could be awarded if there are grant requests for less than $900.
The completed application should be submitted by November 11, 2019. Funds must be used before June 15, 2020 or they are forfeited. The Diversity and Inclusion Committee will review applications and inform applicants of their status no later than January 15, 2020.
