Designing for Economic Mobility in the Upstate

Join us in a 2 day-long workshop built with the ycenter in collaboration with Furman’s Center for Innovative Leadership, the Hill Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Institute for the Advancement of Community Health, the Shi Institute for Sustainable Communities, and the Riley Institute. From climate action to healthcare, education to economic mobility; join us to explore solutions that impact our community, cities and potentially scale beyond borders.

Part of Y center’s commitment to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, this program has reached participants at 100+ universities in 30+ countries. Designed for students, entrepreneurs, corporate partners, and community leaders across the Greenville region, this immersive experience focuses on hands-on innovation and real-world problem-solving. Participants will work individually or in teams to develop tech-enabled solutions that enhance economic resilience for the community.
