All talented and passionate artists are welcome at Furman Theatre. We don’t require auditions to be admitted to our program, but if you’re interested in our department, we invite you to visit us.
For those admitted students, we’ve created a Theatre Arts Preview Day that offers you and your family the opportunity to meet our faculty, tour our facilities and campus, get to know our majors and alumni, and meet with an admission counselor.
When you visit Furman University, you’ll see why we’re one of the top-ranked campuses in the country. And, more importantly, you’ll know if you want to spend four years as part of the Furman Theatre family. Make a plan to meet students, talk with Faculty, and sit in on a class. Visit us.
We’re training future theatre artists, and one of the best ways to see that training at work is to attend one of our performances. From main stage productions to student-produced work to class showcases, Furman Theatre is hard at work. Find out about our upcoming events.
Join us in February 2020 for an exclusive Academic Preview Day. This visit is designed specifically for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors to learn more about the Theatre Arts major at Furman University. Registration deadline is in early February 2020. Information on how to register will be posted as soon as possible, in the meantime, email Coady Shovlain in our Admission Office for more information.
Looking to become a Furman Theatre Arts major? You must first apply to the university by submitting your Admissions Application. Once you’re admitted, you can register for the Theatre Arts Preview Day at the Online Status Page.
