Why Furman? I wanted a small southern school, I was set to attend a large state school in my hometown, but when touring Furman I couldn’t help but feel like this could be my new home. The smiling faces, small classes and the sense of community are all reason I decided to call this place home.

Which professor has made the biggest impact on you while at Furman, and why? Dr. Delancey, has been around since my freshman year, and is my advisor. He cares about me and understands how I learn best.

What is your favorite Furman memory? In the middle of the night, pouring rain, my friends and I decided we would jump in every single fountain on campus, we ended the night laying in the grass on the mall looking up at the stars!

What is your favorite thing spot/activity to do in Greenville? Petees in Traveler Rest! It’s a hole in the wall burger joint with killer milkshakes and they’re open late!

In my spare time I like to... Play tennis with my best friends, socialize in the library or volunteer at New Washington Heights Community Center.
