My Furman Advantage Experiences:

Internship - Medex Tier One and Two, with Two being the summer of 2023. It is a pipeline program like a pre-med boot camp (lots of shadowing, ethics, medical school immersion, etc.)
Study Away - MayX: War and Remembrance with Dr. Strobel in England, Belgium, and France learning about WW1 and how each nation approached memorials and cemeteries as a more specific lens of the war
Research – History Department with Dr. Tollison, Spring semester and summer 2023. Not really formal research, more just a hobby that I’ve been helping out with, but there should be something published in the next few months.
