Why did you want to be a Hearst Fellow?

I wanted to be a Hearst Fellow so I can have the necessary support to help me make the big transition from being homeschooled to college. Residence life, social outreach programs, and academic intensity can all be overwhelming. I wanted to take advantage of everything Furman had to offer, and with the Hearst Fellows, I felt it was achievable.

What do you like to do you in your spare time?

I love to visit various state parks, my favorite being Dupont State Forest in Cedar Mountain, North Carolina.

What's a quirky fact about you, or what would the title of your autobiography be?

One quirky fact about me is that I only ever wear sneakers. You will always catch me with my favorite pair on and hardly anything different.
