Michael received his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2012 from Salisbury University. He completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship with Furman University in 2013. Michael earned his Masters of Human Resources and Development from Clemson University in 2015 and completed his Graduate Assistant residency during this time. He also has experience at the professional level, serving as a summer intern with the Baltimore Ravens in 2011. He has clinical experience and interest in a variety of treatment techniques including active release therapy, instrument assisted soft tissue massage and postural restoration applications. Mike is certified in Graston manual therapy techniques. He rejoined the Furman staff in the summer of 2015. His responsibilities include serving as the Coordinator for the Student Assistant’s program, supervising the Fellow for softball and assisting with the care of the football team.
