"I fell in love with Furman University even before I got here and I surely love it, even more, being here physically. The atmosphere on the campus among peers, professors, even dining hall members is just so warm and welcoming. When we walk past each other, the hellos and how are yours just shows how much everyone cares about everyone especially in the uncertain times of the pandemic.

Furman is a safe space for me where everyone cares and is open and willing to help you in any way possible. What I have learned is that my happiness is everyone’s happiness and the other way around. I proudly call Furman home because it accepts and welcomes me for who I am."
