Jennifer McHan Good
Jennifer is an innovative and forward-thinking technology leader with over 30 years of experience in aligning strategy and technology with organizational goals. Her career has spanned roles in IT program management, strategic design, implementation and change management for Fortune 500 companies in the metro Atlanta area. She holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Furman.
Jennifer will tell you that it was not only the skills she learned in her major, but it was also the liberal arts education that Furman provided that helped her bridge the gap between IT and organizational goals to align on a common strategy. Furman gave her the skills to adapt, engage and collaborate. Through her ongoing relationship with the Computer Science department and as a Furman Mentor, Jennifer engages with current students and shares how Furman provided the advantage for her in her career.
Jennifer, and her husband Eddie ‘89, were Furman Singers and are actively engaged with current Singers, having served on the Furman Singers Alumni Association Board and travelled with the Singers on their trip to the Czech Republic and Austria. Jennifer is a past member of the Furman Alumni Council and is a member of FurmanWIN (Furman Women’s Impact Network), providing leadership, engagement and philanthropic initiatives for Furman women with the goal of positively impacting The Furman Advantage. She also sponsored and led the redesign of Riley Hall room 106, repurposing the lecture hall into a state-of-the-art collaboration space.
At home, Jennifer serves in her church through roles on the Personnel and building committees, and the Women’s, Praise Team, VBS and Church Choir ministries. She and Eddie enjoy travelling and splitting their time between their home in metro Atlanta and Greenville.
