Francie Heller is the founder and managing director of Heller Advisory, a firm dedicated to advising and business development activities, thus providing sustainable and impact strategies that align with investors’ mission and values.
She is also a director at Arabesque Asset Management USA, a firm that integrates ESG big data with quantitative strategies, and an executive team member, and specialist for responsible investing at IOR (Investment Office Resources).
Francie serves as an Emeritus Trustee on the Board of Furman University. She is on the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Board and a member of the Board of College Unbound, focusing on adult learners who have faced significant barriers to attending college. Her previous directorships include Big Picture Learning, Corporate Affiliate Board of the National Association of State Treasurers, Today’s Students Tomorrow’s Teachers, Education and Learning Foundation, Westchester County Association, Advisor to the Government Finance Officers Association, and Municipal Financial Association.
Ms. Heller served as a Managing Director of Pension Advisory Services at Houlihan Lokey. Prior to that, Ms. Heller was Managing Director of Client Relations and Head of Pension Solutions at Chilton Investment Company. Before Chilton, she served as Senior Managing Director and Global Head of the Pension, Endowment and Foundation Services Group at Bear Stearns and Co. Previously, she was President of MBIA Municipal Investors Service Corporation (MISC) where she created and ran all aspects of the schools and government investment management business (CLASS), growing the business from inception to over 30 billion under management. Her program CLASS was created to provide schools with an efficient and safe way to invest tax dollars, providing services to over 4800 local government entities.
Ms. Heller was also an education director for several years, holding positions in New York State Public Schools.
Ms. Heller graduated from Boston University with a BS and earned a master’s equivalent degree from the University of Georgia and a Professional Diploma from Fordham University. She holds certificates from Columbia University, Stanford University, and Harvard University Executive Education programs. Francie holds her FINRA series 7 and 63 licenses. She is a certified mediator. Francie Heller has over 35 years of financial experience spanning both the public and private sectors.
