I was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. My parents taught me at a young age to cherish moments at home with family, but also to always seek out experiences that take me out of my comfort zone and expose me to new perspectives. Today, these roots are reflected in my love of Auburn football and Bayern Munich soccer, banana pudding and Peruvian cuisine, coming home and traveling abroad. My life is dichotomous, but I believe I am all the better for it.
In his own words...
"Furman has encouraged me to explore my interests from international relations to public policy with one-on-one relationships with professors, enabled me to expand my mind and change my perspective with transformative classes such as political thought, and empowered me to work in real political setting through an internship with the Belgian-African Chamber of Commerce in Brussels. Thanks to the Politics and International Affairs department at Furman, I have become a better political scientist, a more considerate thinker, and a more well-rounded person."
