Why did you want to be a Hearst Fellow?

I read about Hearst Fellows offering mentorship throughout college and became interested. I believe that going through challenges on your own is difficult but having a mentor can help you avoid many mistakes.

What has Furman meant to you during this period of change?

During this period of change, Furman has meant a helpful environment. Around campus, there are so many opportunities to get help in any way that you need. Furman has provided an environment that ensures that when you need help, you can get it.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

In my spare time, I usually play soccer and hang out with my friends.

What's a quirky fact about you, or what would the title of your autobiography be?

The title of my autobiography would be "The Adventures of Donovan Sims".
