Lieutenant Colonel Chad Monroe is an Active Duty Army Aviator. He is qualified in the OH-58D and AH-64D helicopters. During his almost 20 years of service, he has held numerous leadership positions including Battalion/Squadron Command, NATO Operations in Spain, West Point Tactical Officer, and Clemson Professor of Military Science. He has three combat deployments to Afghanistan and one deployment to Europe (Latvia and Poland).

He is married to his bride of 19 years, Stephanie L. Monroe and they have four children: Addison-17, Mya-14, Lucy-11, and Jake-8.
