Andrew Moore has a background in communication studies and rhetoric. A former journalist, Andrew focuses his research on public discourse and media narratives, and how communication technologies shape them. Andrew earned his B.A. in communication with a concentration in mass media from USC Upstate, a M.A. in communication, technology, and society from Clemson, and is currently working on his dissertation on rhetorical skepticism and disinformation as he nears completion of his Ph.D. in rhetoric, communication, and information design at Clemson.

He has taught communication courses at various institutions of higher learning, including those within the University of South Carolina system, South Carolina Technical College System, and Clemson.

Andrew and his wife Lesley have three sons: Connor, Dawson, and Nolan.
