Winiski and student present “Landscape for Remembrance”

Mike Winiski and student Drew Woten presented “Landscape of Remembrance: Spatial Distribution of New Orleans Katrina Commemorations” at the Association of American Geographers national meeting. Winiski also received a Blended Teaching and Learning Grant from Associated Colleges of the South to collaborate with faculty from Trinity University to develop online Geographic Information Systems (GIS) resources.
