Vinson quoted in The State following Iowa caucus

Heading into the New Hampshire primary, Joseph Bustos of The State tapped Furman University’s Danielle Vinson for her thoughts about the strength of Republican candidates. Vinson, a professor of politics and international affairs, specializes in institutions in American government with an emphasis on Congress and the media. She teaches courses on Congress, the presidency, media and politics, humor and politics, and American government. She is the author of “Local Media Coverage of Congress and Its Members” and “Congress and the Media: Beyond Institutional Power.”

Vinson holds a bachelor’s from Furman in political science and English and a master’s and a doctorate from Duke University.
