Ahead of the South Carolina Republican primary, Furman University’s Danielle Vinson joined Australia’s Sky News to talk about former President Donald Trump’s success in the primaries despite mounting indictments and legal fees. Vinson, a politics and international affairs professor, said she sees no sign of the candidate slowing down and mentioned Trump has managed to improve support among his base. She also commented on President Joe Biden’s strategy going forward in an all-but-certain rematch between the two in November.

Despite a loss in the South Carolina GOP primary in her home state, Nikki Haley vowed to continue campaigning for the presidential nomination. Vinson spoke to The Telegraph about what Haley might do next.
