Sarah Worth, professor of philosophy, and Sarah Archino, associate professor of art history, co-authored a letter to the editor in the Greenville News about controversy surrounding the “Wings of the City” statue installation in downtown Greenville.

The “debate around these statues will undoubtedly receive widespread condemnation and further assumptions that the South is an intolerant cultural atmosphere, where artistic expression is narrowly defined and quickly censored,” the faculty members write.
